Meander along the West Mendip Way – it’ll take you from Weston to Wells if you fancy it, with spectacular views along the route. And Weston’s flat roads make cycling a breeze – although there are stiffer challenges should you opt to leave the town on two wheels! For your convenience we have a secure, weather proof storage facility for your bikes, equipment etc. For golfers, Weston has three courses. One is a links course just three minutes walk from Heather Lodge.  Did you know Weston has its own nature reserve? The Old Town Quarry is the place to take in some peace and quiet. Enjoy the birds, the plants and the wild flowers. There are artists’ studios, exhibitions and a comfy tea room renowned for scrumptious home baked cakes! and the sea fishing glorious coastline with miles of sandy beaches provides home for a whole host of other activties such as paragliding, kite surfing, sand yachting.

Indoors, there’s the Playhouse featuring stars from stage and screen as well as a traditional Christmas panto. Talking of tradition, book with us in November and enjoy that most spectacular of sights – the winter carnival. It’s a riot of colour and noise as scores of inventive, brightly-lit floats rumble their way around the town centre. There’s also the Odeon cinema, screening all the latest movies. Another centre not to be missed is the Helicopter Museum, on the outskirts of town, while the Sovereign Centre in the heart of Weston will meet all your shopping needs.
